Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2nd Annual Colloquium on Qualitative Health Sciences Research held on May 3, 2024! We had ~70 people in the Zoom/in-person audience during peak times – almost double from last year – from across the country and internationally. We look forward to continuing to grow our qualitative research community over the years with this event and appreciate everyone’s support.
We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to:
- Dr. Nicky Teufel-Shone, who gave a fantastic and thought-provoking Keynote Speech on the Two-Eyed Seeing Approach to qualitative research
- Our judges, Dr. April Bell, Emily Warner, Dr. Dan Li, and Brittany Hudson, who provided their time and expertise to judge our student and trainee presentations
- The presenters of the excellent oral presentations and posters, which covered wonderfully diverse topics and provided for an enriching day
- Everyone who submitted abstracts and/or attended
- Everyone who provided logistical or technical support, especially David Bradley, Diane Sarantakos, Adam Hawkins, Jan Foisy, and Violet Vardaman
- The TSET Health Promotion Research Center, for providing funding for the event, and the Hudson College of Public Health for providing space for the event
