The Qualitative Methods Community of Practice at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is now accepting abstract submissions and registration for the fourth annual Qualitative Health Sciences Research Colloquium on April 10, 2026. We are excited to welcome Dr. Nancy Burke, PhD as Keynote Speaker!
We are seeking abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations that apply qualitative or mixed research methods to a health-related topic. There will be a two $250 prizes for student/trainee presentations, one for best poster, and one for best oral presentation. Faculty, professional researchers, and graduate students/trainees are all welcome to submit abstracts. Oral presentations can be either remote (i.e., Zoom) or in person in Oklahoma City. Poster presentations will be in person only. Registration and attendance is free.

We will strive for a balance of in-person and online oral presenters and will prioritize abstracts with empirical findings. If selected for remote oral presentation, you will be asked to attend a mandatory online tech run through a week prior to the Colloquium. If submitting an abstract you will be asked to provide:
- Abstract title
- Brief abstract synopsis (2-3 sentences)
- Unstructured abstract (200 word maximum)
- 3 learning objectives (25 words maximum each)
- Presenter biography (75 words maximum)
- Presenter head shot (optional)
