Seminar Title: Improving Rural Cancer Survivorship: End-User Oriented Design of a Cancer Survivorship Program for “Agricultural Extension”

Seminar Summary: This presentation will cover formative work in the design of a cancer survivorship program intended to improve lifestyle and quality of life among primarily rural, post-active treatment survivors of cancer. This will include discussion of working with existing infrastructure to improve outreach efforts in under-served communities. Methods included participatory intervention co-design using semi-structured interviews with Cooperative Extension Educators and survivors of cancer across Oklahoma. Interviews were coded using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Science to preemptively identify and plan for potential barriers and facilitators to program implementation.
